I’m Erin. I’m a paradox of sorts… I am a licensed veterinarian who is currently teaching college level biology. Why you may ask? Well, I felt God calling me away from my profession to focus more time on my family. It has been an incredible blessing! It really is awesome to see what God will do in your life if follow His instructions.
I am a Christian. It took me entirely too long awhile to realize that God loves me for who I am. Imperfect, sinful, me. It’s called grace. I’m so thankful and in awe of a God who sent His Son to die for me, for us. I don’t understand everything that happens in life, but one thing I understand is that God loves me…WAY more than I can ever imagine.
I am married to my high school sweetheart, Ben, who is my best friend in the entire world. We have an absolute blast living life together!
We have two two wonderful, spirited, loving, little girls, Mary James and Callie. I thank God everyday for the opportunity God gave me to be their mother. God has changed my outlook and actually my life “plan” (ha!) in incredible ways through those two little miracles. Our third little miracle, Lily, is due to arrive sometime in July 2012.
As for furry members of the house, we have a red Golden Retriever named Bentley, a deaf cat named Annabelle, and a kitty named Bella (Bellatrix). Lucy, our blonde Golden Retriever, has been adopted by my sweet cousins in South Carolina.
My blog is a way for me to remember all the precious, fleeting moments of life when I’m gray and wrinkly.
